Purpose of the Job


Drive topdown sales and business development activities of GT OOEM product lines principally for Thermal Services Middle East. Drive coordination with the Product Line PL and Local Service Centers LSCs to develop strategies for business growth including marketing product development and capturing and customer relationship.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions of the job include but are not limited to the following



  • Develop and implement PL and TSME initiatives and strategies to grow the GTOOEM in TSME.

  • Support the LSCs in analyzing clarifying and screening opportunities and customer RFQPs request for quotationsproposals.

  • In coordination with PL provide all necessary technical amp commercial support to the LSC sales teams in bid preparation clarifications and contract negotiation to capture majorstrategic projects

  • Act as an interface between PL and LSCs on all matters related to the technical commercial and strategic aspects of GTOOEM product line

  • Conduct market analysis including market size fleet analysis and drivers for GTOOEM products and services

  • Perform competitive analysis and mapping of Alstom productservice capabilities for the GTOOEM productline

  • Promote and ensure adoption of sales tools and processes across LSCs including but not limited to PowerSales opportunity screening commercial gate and risk reviews.

  • Work with TSME Supply Chain and PL organizations to establish competitive local sourcing for outsourced components and services.

  • Conduct technicalproduct training and seminars to LSCs personnel and external customers

  • Strictly comply with the Company's Ethics amp Compliance rules and EHS policies rules and procedures

  • Meet financial KPIs for GTOOEM product line budget threeyear plan and pipelines

  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of different strategy development methodologies and their successful implementation.

  • Ability to develop strong relationship with key decision makers within Alstom and in customer organizations

  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of customer and market drivers throughout the Area.

  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of GTOOEM product portfolio competency in value expression and competitive awareness


    Qualifications

    Educational Requirements



    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred or Business required

      Technical Knowledge Experience



      • Minimum 5 years of experience in a Sales Business Development role with at least 2 years of experience within Power Generation or Power Services sectors.

      • Experience in selling power generation equipment spares and services.

      • Knowledge of GT business trends customer spending patterns problems amp requirements.

      • Thorough knowledge of gas turbines operation its related equipment generators steam turbines amp auxiliaries spare parts repair maintenance services.

      • Knowledge and understanding of commercial terms amp conditions in contracts

      • Strong presentation organisational and leadership skills.

      • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

      • High confidence and credibility to influence senior team members.

      • Proven record in developing innovative approaches to improve business growth.

      • Strong team player adaptable and flexible with the ability to work across cultures and regions.

        Other



        • Valid passport with eligibility to travel to all countries in the Middle East and USA

        • Willing amp able to travel extensively

        • Fluent in English Arabic is not a prerequisite but will be an added advantage.
