Apparel Production Assistant

1Works in the Production Department.

2Reports to Production Manager.

3Support the Manager with specific responsibilities related to production functions.

4Assisting on the management of all sourcing and production processes.

5Oversee production team.

6Working closely with the production Development and Technical teams to ensure that the quality and fit standards are adhered to

7Executes all garment production steps from original sample development to bulk delivery.

8Oversee time and action calendars and garment production charts.

9Responsible for on time garment orders and sales sample deliveries from fabric purchase through initial costing to final distribution.

10Assist on the monitoring of QC inspections during production.

11Raw material bookings in line with target delivery dates.

12Tracking Production of salespersons swatch cards.

13Responsible for documentation of Orders projects details and records.

14Maintaining cost sheets.

15Responsible for Fabrics Trims and row materials Orders with overseas Offices Suppliers and accounts.

16Influence manage and facilitate the deliveries of Raw materials to support on time deliveries and deadlines.

17Responsible for documentation of fabric trims details and prices in PLM system to insure accuracy of raw material information.

18Work with Manager on production factory allocations.

19Coordinating production factory dips.

Skills

1Excellent in English language.

21015 years of experience in apparel production management.

3Diploma or higher education in fashion.

4Experience in Fashion Sewing Machine Skills.

5Experience in Manufacturing Sewn Products.

6An interest in textiles fashion design and trend.

7Knowledge of fabric types and their properties.

8Excellent handsewing and machining skills.

9Creativity and the ability to visualize designs.

10Number skills for measuring.

11Pattern construction and cutting skills.

12Strong technical knowledge of woven and knit fabric and their markets.

13Strong leadership interpersonal skills organizational skills with detailed attention to products.

14Ability to communicate and interact with all cross functional teams.

15Strong team orientation.

16Detail oriented with strong follow through able to organize and prioritize multiple projects.

17High experience in software packages such as Microsoft Word Outlook PowerPoint Excel Access etc.

18Ability to work under pressure.

19A smart appearance.
