API Inspectors Lead Inspectors

Job Description Review previous inspection history job packs drawings specifications inspection plans and repair plans prior to inspection of equipment and determine compliance with requirements.Carry out inspection of equipment in accordance with the specified plans and company procedures.Assess equipment condition and report with repair recommendations as per relevant code requirements and company specifications.Carry out NDT jobs in liaison with the NDT coordinator and technicians.Carry out Coating jobs in liaison with the coating inspectors coating contractors as per plan and recommendations.Carry out refractory jobs in liaison with the refractory inspectors refractory contractors as per plan and recommendations.Witness and certify the equipment pressure test repairs and certify the equipment for its intended operation.Responsible for making decisions on repairs as per code requirements and supervise a team of inspectors during the inspection activities.Oversee the quality assurance Quality control on behalf of client to insure that the mechanical integrity procedures of equipment and resources are implemented as required in the company specificationsFor API Lead Inspectors minimum of 15 years work experience of plant equipment inspection in a petrochemical Oil and gas plant out of which at least 7 years of post the date of API certification.For API Inspectors minimum of 10 years experience in plant equipment inspection in a petrochemical Oil and gas plant and at least 4 years shall be post the date of API certificationKey Skills API 510570653AWS CSWIP 3.1Level II in RTUTPTMTASMENACEpressure vesselmetallurgyweldingShutdownTurnaroundAbout Company Bureau Veritas is a global leader in Testing Inspection and Certification TIC services.
