Job Description

Parsons Brinckerhoff was selected by Ashghal to provide program management consultant PMC services for what is expected to be more than 200 local road and drainage infrastructure projects to be implemented throughout the country over a period of five to seven years. Five general engineering consultants GECs have been selected to design tender and supervise construction of the projects under Parsons Brinckerhoffrsquos supervision.

As such we are looking for an Environment Manager to be responsible for the implementation and administration of the Local Roads and Drainage Programmersquos Environmental Management System and Sustainability objectives. Job Requirements

bull Degree in Civil Environmental Engineering with 20 years experience in engineering consulting on the environmental aspects and requirements of projects. bull Well versed in Environmental Impact Assessments and Environmental Permitting Regulations Processes etc. for major Infrastructure projects. bull Experience in the design and construction phases of projects. bull Experience in preparation of project related environmental policy technical specifications reports and correspondence. bull Skills to communicate with client representatives agencies and others stakeholders and engineering teams on the Programme. bull Bilingual English and Arabic preferred.
