SALES ENGINEER MATERIAL HANDLING


JOB PURPOSE STATEMENT

Generates sales by visiting customers productively and providing them with information regarding specifications and pricing of Material Handling Equipment. Maintains relationships with customers in accordance with the policies and procedures of the division and the company.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES amp RESPONSIBILITIES



1.Undertakes frequent visits of clients and representatives to generate sales of Material Handling amp Cleaning Equipment.

2.To ensure that visits shall be productive and later should be ready to be discussed evaluated reviewed and analysed with the Operations Manager.

3.He need to generate sales by consultation and by providing solution to customer needs. For this he has to update his product his as well as competitors knowledge periodically and maintain regular customer contacts.

4.Maintain record of clients in Kerridge using CRM. He should also has to maintain and update regularly the same record based on customer segmentation in any suitable format using MS Office package.

5.Coordinate aftersales service as and when necessary to build customer satisfaction. He should maintain a synergy with after sales team to resolve after sales issues faster and qualitatively to achieve this.

6.Analyse market trends and competitor activities in order to utilize the information to work out an aggressive counter Sales and Marketing strategy. He should maintain up to date record on competitor activities market share products sales strategies strengths and weaknesses.

7.Achieve the sales gross profit and gross margin targets on a monthly basis

8.Has to provide accurate sales outlook useful info based on market intelligence as and when needed.

9.In addition to the retention of existing customers discovering and developing new clients also part of the job

10.Making quality sales distribution of invoices on time and ensuring the collection of receivables is also part of the duties.

11.Need to provide information to enable the sales support team to conduct the customer satisfaction surveys.

12.Based on the market happenings he has to identify amp recommend suitable marketing activities to the management to improve the sales further.

13.Market shall be divided in to customer segments and customers shall be maintained amp followed in that way. Based on this segmentation he should maintain his customers to generate sales. Periodically he need to evaluate the segment to identify the weaker segment where there is room for improvement.

14.Record customer complaints and find solutions for issues. Has to inform customer support agents to follow further on this.

15.Analyse the causes of customer complaint issues in order to adopt preventive measures for the future.

16.Submit reports on sales and other information vital for the management regularly.

17.Provide support on the warranty issues.


المهارات


•Degree higher diploma in mechanical engineering and a degree in business administration is an advantage.

•Sales experience in the material handling equipment is needed.

•MS Office knowledge is a must.

•Excellent customer service ability

•Professional in appearance and attitude

•Selfmotivated

•Results oriented

•Good communication skills in English both written and spoken Arabic a plus

•Able to evaluate market size and market share accurately

•Able to provide accurate revenue and gross profit outlook

•Marketing and product development skills

•Skills for market intelligence

•Skills for making amp maintaining good customer relation.

•Computer Skills Microsoft office package
