Responsibilities



Sound knowledge of electrical principles high voltage circuits airfield lighting circuits

Proficiency in the usage of variety of test instruments

Computer Literate Ability use CMMS

Proficiency in identifying the spares and equipment related to Aerodrome Visual Navigational Systems

Understanding of ICAOGCAA regulations

Understanding of Visual Navigational System operational requirement

Visual Navigational System and Airside Safety requirements

General Understanding of Air Traffic Control Operations

Knowledge of aviation radio communication techniques procedures

Trouble shooting in an Active Airfield Environment

Knowledge of basic engineering calculations

Understanding of Electronic Navigational Systems

Practical problem solving

Ability to read and understand variety of drawings schematics parts list technicalsafety manuals procedures

Fluent written and verbal communication in English and Arabic preferred

ICAO Level 4 Aviation English Proficiency

Valid UAE light vehicle driver's license

Manoeuvring area driving license Ability to obtain the same with minimum training

Understanding of Airport Emergency procedures Accident Incident Investigation Process

Airfield series circuit cable fault rectification cable splicing working with modern Airfield Lighting Control System components

Ensure customer satisfaction through direct liaison with client representatives customers and service recipients

Ensure delivery of value to Honeywell clients and customers

Financial control according to previously agreed budgets and plans

Estimate and Risk Reviews

Report possible future failures disturbances and other opportunities for improvement

Estimate materials costs and quantities provide the information to the FSS or FSL and Service Sales

Development and maintenance of sitespecific documentation and quality assurance information as instructed by team leader

Follow the Honeywell SOPs HSE and quality systems while delivering the periodic maintenance services as well as the execution of spot services and SLJs

Achievement measurement and reporting of performance indicators and site service objectives

Carry out hazard and risk assessments for all tasks as per company policy and procedures

Report near misses incidents and other opportunities for improvement

At times the jobholder may be required to work under pressure to meet deadline and he she will work on a shift roster basis



Experience Qualifications



The jobholder will have at least 4 years experience 7 years for certificate holder in Airfield Lighting maintenance in an International Airport

They should have an experience in working with modern Airfield Lighting System equipmentcomponents Automatic Visual Docking Guidance System andor other safety critical Airside systems

Administrative skills

Ability to interact and build relationships with customers

Ability to acquire and demonstrate trade skills andor product knowledge to meet the requirements of the role

Ability to apply knowledge and understanding of Honeywell products to develop solutions that meet customer’s requirements

Must be able to work with limited supervision and direct contractors or other service technicians

Good communication both written and verbal

The ability to work under pressure

Strong commitment to safety and safe working environment

Valid UAE drivers License
