MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Reporting to the Superintendent Finance as the Accountant Planning and Analysis you will ensure the preparation and execution of estimates quarterly forecasts and annual budgets including the preparation of Hyperion reporting actuals forecast and budget and other supplementary analysis.



JOB OBJECTIVES

• Coordination and completion of all forecasted and budgeted financial and cost information


• Analysis of all forecasted and budgeted financial and cost information


• Responsible for effective working capital management and monitoring working capital against set targets


• Analysis for month end reporting where required


• Ensure timeous submission of adhoc requests to relevant stakeholders


• Ensure all financial reporting system descriptions and procedures for the forecast and budgeting process are documented to ensure continuity of operations and toward maintaining a clear indepth understanding of the forecast and budget reporting model


• Maintain and improve safety health and environmental standards and practices and


• Perform fair and reasonable tasks related to the job and working environment at the discretion of the Superintendent Finance.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
    
    

    
    
    • Degree in a Financial discipline
    
    
    • Honours CA SA would be highly advantageous
    
    
    • 3 years' experience in a financial accounting discipline and
    
    
    • Licence EB.
