Our client are a major Gas company based in the United Arab Emirates. They were established prior to the millenium as a government subsidiary and have had consistant growth since their birth. Candidate Outline

The ideal individual will take on the general roles expected for any Process Engineering role. These include but are not limited to the below

Coordinates the activities of assigned personnel in assigned unit performs supervisory functions and exercises financial authority at the level established. The will also advise on engineering activities related to existing and proposed process facilities. The will participate as a member of special committees to study various technical problemsfacilities such as gascrudewater separation water conditioning and treatment pressure maintenance systems transportation and export or as an individual contributor to provides expert technical advice as and when requested.

Participates in the evaluation of plant modification requests involving a wide variety of process elements or problems recommends solutions acceptance or rejection of proposed changes as appropriate. Includes liaising with requesting or concerned parties of field operations divisions gathering researching and analysing respective data and information and preparing recommendations with technical backup as appropriated. Carries out subsequent conceptual process designs.

Receives various requests for engineering support through supervisor which may involve one or several technical activities such as to carry out conceptual design evaluate consultants design packages inspect suspected faults on site or to provide simple advice on process matters etc. Carries out required collection and analysis of information and produces appropriate recommendations.

Supervises the preparation of conceptual designs for major and minor process related projects or for projects that have a process design content inclusive of preparation of cost estimates and scopes of work. Directs inhouse draughtsmen in the preparation of necessary drawings and checks their finished work for accuracy and completeness.
