Department
As the Outside Catering Manager you will be a part of our Beverage Food department reporting to the Director of BF.
Job Description
As the Outside Catering Manager you will be responsible for managing the day to day operations of the Outside Catering Department in order to meet and exceed guests’ needs and business requirements while ensuring strong Talent engagement and adherence to service standards and operating procedures. It is further your task to review adjust and communicate Banquet Event Orders throughout the concerned departments to maintain a strong client relationship and ensure that all convention specifications are communicated to and executed by all hotel operating departments accordingly to select train develop coach and manage the performance of direct and indirect reporting Talents to ensure the efficient running of the department to develop and maintain policies procedures and quality standards within the department while utilizing a continuous improvement approach and to accomplish administrative tasks such as leading and attending meetings writing reports scheduling and forecasting.
Requirements
You should have at least 5 years of management experience in the same role in a five star property.
A College Degree or a Diploma in Hotel Management or in a related field are required.
Proficiency in the English language both written and verbal is a must. Proficiency in the Arabic language is beneficial.
We expect you to have indepth knowledge of Microsoft Office software and Micros.
Previous Middle East Experience is required.
