Estimator

Job Description My client is looking for an Estimator to report to the Project Control Director and head up the Estimating Team of their new Dubai office.



Key responsibilities will include





bull Implementing the established policy procedures and systems of the Company branch

bull Managing the estimation function for project andor assist in the management of estimating assignments for a large project

bull Providing functional and administrative oversight of all estimating activities including estimate planning coordination of estimating activities equipment and material takeoff costing calculating Return on Invested Capital ROIC and Internal Rate of Return IRR preparation of a basis of estimate and estimate reviews

bull Establishing and maintaining cost databases and product line specific parametric analysis tools

bull Assisting the Project Manager in presenting troubleshooting and improving estimates

bull Overseeing the preparation of crew buildups and production rate determinations

bull Planning and scheduling and the Project International Cost Structure overheads GampA insurances



The Estimating Manager must have a minimum of 15 years experience in the Engineering or Construction industry with an average of 10 years in Estimating including 5 years experience on a project performing work outside the estimating function within the MENA region.
