Technical Trainer Welder

Our client is seeking applications from qualified tradesmen with strong experience in any of the following carpentry and building metal fabrication pipefitting plumbing or welding. It is preferred that applicants have some experience training apprentices or trainees and are interested in working in a Middle Eastern setting in a role that focuses on passing on their knowledge and experience.

Technical Program

The program objective is to a provide sufficient basic skills for trainees to enter the workforce of their sponsor and b continue into further study that will articulate into an overall twoyear diploma.

The Technical Trainers will deliver the foundation skills program in Trimester 1 covering construction mathematics engineering principles and workplace health and safety. In Trimester 2 the Technical Trainers will deliver an introductory workshop practice program to introduce trainees to a range of tools and equipment in their specific trade and develop their hands thinking and life skills. The curriculum and teaching student materials will be prepared by shareholder institutions.

Technical Trainers must have practical handson experience in at least one of 5 trades below

Application Requirements

All candidates must be approved based on the criteria below before their appointment can be confirmed

acirc128cent Native English speaker

acirc128cent 5years practical handson experience in one of the five technical areas of carpentry amp building metal fabrication pipefitting plumbing andor welding a combination of work experience in a work environment closely related to the 5 trades will be considered

acirc128cent Proven experience in training apprentices or trainees in one or more of the 5 trades acombination of experience in one of the 5 trades and in other technical trades will be considered

acirc128cent Candidates must have a tertiary i.e. post high school diploma associate degree or trade certificates in one of the 5 trades or hold an equivalent relevant qualification i.e. degree qualifications not essential

acirc128cent Prepared to relocate to Saudi on an unaccompanied basis due to limited family facilities and services in Jazan province

acirc128cent Be able to provide at least 3 work referees that have monitored or supervised you in a role related to the technical instructor area being applied for.
