THE PROJECT

The Planacirc128brvbar. To create a network of rail links to connect the Middle East and enable travel from country to country with ease and speed. The Gulf Railway would extend from Kuwait39s border with Iraq to Salalah in southern Oman. It is also planned the railway line will possibly extend to Yemen from Oman and Saudi Arabia.



THE ROLE

MEP MANAGER



Your experience

The ideal candidate must be a Mechanical or Electrical Engineer with 10yearsacirc128153 experience in the organization and supervision of the installation testing and commissioning of MEP in the Metro Rail Transit projects under construction and specifically in systems for fire protection power supply and distribution Signalling and Automatic Protection Operation and Supervision of trains other Low Current systems Control and Remote Operation Systems. In addition you shall have design related experience in the issues related to tunnel ventilation station ventilation and air conditioning and MEP installations Building Automation and Control Systems and shall have experience in the design review and evaluation of designs to check for compliance with specification and employers requirements.



Responsibilities include but not limited to

In charge of the supervision of the installation testing and commissioning of MEP and coordination with Railway systems

Provide the planning input for the MEP works

Assist in technical coordination meetings with subcontractors and project staff

Attend regular meetings on work progress

Monitor project budgets and schedule and oversee performance to ensure on time quality and on budget project execution

Coordinate with the design team on all aspects of the design

Executes the project construction activities in line with the project specifications scope of work schedule and requirements

Produce the project construction deliverables and oversees the quality of the project construction deliverable.

Responsible for surveillance and measurement of contractor work quality.

Monitor the project status in terms of time quality and cost using relevant tools and methods.

Coordinate the site construction activities.

Review and approve progress claims and variations.

Maintains and develops business relationships with stakeholders and suppliers vital to the success of the project.



All suitable candidates will have the above experiences and will be fully confident in managing a multicultural team of a large size and a project that will have huge focus over the coming years due to its size and cost.
