JOB TITLE MECHANICAL PIPING PROJECT ENGINEER

Roles amp Responsibilities

149 Supports Company146s guiding principles.

149 Actively contribute to departmental and organizational goals.

149 Develop cost effective multidiscipline project solutions.

149 Work with discipline specialists and all stakeholders to develop project execution plans.

149 Develop robust cost estimates and execution schedules.

149 Manages a successful project execution using in house and external contracted resources from initiation to closeout.

149 Proactively ensures compliance with company146s process risk management program.

149 Arrange and supervise offshore surveys discuss findings with offshore personnel and report findings recommendations and actions.

149 Ensure international codes and code compliance.

149 Proactively promote the development and compilation of facilities technical information.

149 Monitor technology advances and raises opportunities to implement those which benefit the organization.

149 Play a key role in Management of Change.

149 Play a key role in improving and enhancing engineering contract definition.

149 Support preliminary feed or study activities.

149 Promote the development and use of material supply agreements.

149 Promote the development and use of approved supplier lists.

149 Manage all project interfaces between vendors engineering amp construction during construction phase.

149 Prepare project close out reports following completion.

149 Ensure that inherent safety in design is maintained. Help to foster a good safety culture within facilities engineering group.

Education

149 Engineering at degree level or equivalent is preferred although lesser qualified candidates with extensiverelevant experience in lieu of qualification may be considered

ProfessionalTechnical Knowledge

149 Candidates require a technical background within hisher discipline supplemented by proven project engineering skills.

149 Good presentation communication and written skills. Logic thinking and analytical skills are required.

ProfessionalTechnical QualificationsLicensesCertifications

149 A Chartered engineer is preferred supplemented by a recognized project engineering qualification PMP

Experience

149 5 150 7 years experience in oil amp gas mechanicalpiping engineering activities together with an additional 3 5 years project engineering experience.
