Our client a leading bank in Oman is looking to hire an Information Security Manager to join their growing team.

Reporting to the CISO the Information Security Manager will be responsible to support the Bankrsquos projects by being the Information Security Subject Matter Expert and point of contact on all security related issues. AcircnbspThe role will also responsible for technical evaluation of new products solutions and to provide recommendation for implementations.Acircnbsp The Information Security Manager will have knowledge in information security over wide range of financial institution tools such as echannels fraud monitoring treasury system core banking etc with a focus on security architecture and data security.Acircnbsp The role will be required to perform security risk assessment and business impact analysis for new business projects products services and provide recommendation to comply with bankrsquos security architecture and policies. AcircnbspIt will also be responsible for managing the necessary security testing during the projects and assisting the implementation of Information Security governance and monitoring after project implementation to ensure information security compliance of the system.

To be considered for this position candidates should have 810 years experienceas aninformation security professional in a bank or within financial services as candidates must have strong knowledge of banking applications.Acircnbsp Experience of Business Continuity risk management and vendor management will also be beneficial.Acircnbsp Knowledge of standards such as ISO 27001 ISO 27005 PCIDSS and CoBIT is essential.Acircnbsp All candidates must be degree educated and have excellent English communication both written and verbal.
