Warehouses Section Head

Job Purpose

Manage Warehousing Operations to ensure provision of reliable onsite goods and material storage and supply that meets the current and future needs of the production process and support the achievement of corporate production objectives.



Accountabilities

•Establish the Warehouse Management System of the company including policies procedures and processes.

•Develop and implement warehousing operations standards policies and procedures in line with corporate Production strategy in order to achieve the materials consumption plan and ensure the integrity of supply amp ensure their implementation.

•Act as Warehouse subject matter expert analyze and interpret Warehouse standards programs and practices to support the business.

•Ensure effective planning and development of the storage facility in order to ensure the integrity of goods and material supply to the production process and support the achievement of the highest standards of warehousing provision.

•Promote effective planning and coordination of warehousing operations activity with key production process activities in order to ensure continuous integrity of onsite goods and material supply.

•Prepare and manage annual budgets and operating plans that accurately represent anticipated operation and development costs and so allow accurate business planning and cost management.

•Build and maintain good working relationships with key suppliers delivery companies and other outside bodies in order to support the efficiency and effectiveness of the warehousing operation.

Qualifications Experience amp Skills

•Bachelors’ degree in Engineering Commerce Business Administration.

•10 years’ experience in supply chain and warehousing operations and management preferably within the steel industry.

•Welldeveloped leadership and people management skills.

•Excellent communication skills.

•Clear understanding of bulk materials transport logistics.

•Strong results oriented day today management skills.

•Strong organizational and planning skills.

•Good computer skills SAP knowledge is preferred.

•Strong inventory control amp management skills.

•Strong Material Requirements Planning MRP knowledge and skills.

•Excellent command of English amp Arabic language.
