SeniorLead Production Technologist Staff Nordics

Senior or Lead Production Technologist to join the Corporate Production Development department in the New and Emerging Business Team.

Assist business unit in optimizing the design of our hydraulic sand propped fracs in our tightoil developments

Assist business unit in developing standard approaches to well and field surveillance. Play a role in influencing and supporting regional surveillance programs which include well monitoring pattern optimization and WRFM initiatives.

Accountable for the delivery of Production ChemistryMaterial Selection Completion Technology elements of field development planning in an integrated team environment.

Accountable in cooperation with the PT in EOR team for the delivery of Production ChemistryCompletion Technology elements of field development planning for a largescale WAG project.

Assist in influencing the operator in partnership with respect to material selection completion and artificial lift strategy. Review proposals from operator with respect to Production Technology aspects.

Ensure that HSSE issues are fully embedded within organization and in field development planning and execution work where applicable.

Peer Assist fellow PTs as part of the company assurance process to ensure robust Field Development Plans.

Represent PT Discipline in providing technical assurance to Projects Maturation Process PMP when required.

Work closely with Discipline Chiefs and other business units to build a strong global PT community.

Who we are looking for

Required Experience and Expertise

Must have a Bachelor39s Degree or higher in Petroleum Engineering Chemical Engineering or related subjects with appropriate level of experience.

Operational experience with hydraulic fracturing of high relevance to our tightoil development inKazakhstan.

Operational experience with sour oil production.

Operational experience with scale prevention and remediation wax and asphaltene remediation.

Experience with nearwellbore damage applications production and injection performance well testing pressure data and monitoring.

Must be knowledgeable and have thorough understanding of Production Technology capabilities and technologies. Have good experience with waterflood enhancement and WAG processes.

Ability to assist in framing and evaluating Well amp Reservoir Management WRFM Plan for field development planning and operating fields.

Good understanding of the economic commercial principles which drive the decisionmaking processes.

Good experience in both operational and study environments.

Capability to develop and deploy new technologies to enhance value to field development planning.

Desirable Experience and Expertise

Knowledge with artificial lift systems SRPs ESPs PCPs.

Awareness or Knowledge with standard chemical modeling tool e.g. Multiscale or Chemscale.

Knowledge of Standard Engineering Software such as

PROSPER OLGA and GAP for well and network performance modeling.

SAPHIR for well test interpretation.

SRod andor XDIAG for sucker rod system design.

SubPump for ESP system design.

PVTsim for wax gas hydrate and asphaltene prediction.

OFM amp Babelfish for reservoir surveillance and production database.

Awareness knowledge of MBAL for material balance.

Awareness knowledge of Eclipse and other software related to the Eclipse suite of programs.
