The Senior Architect is responsible for providing architectural designs and supervision of projects across the Middle East WSP ME



Responsibilities

bull Supervise coordinate and support Architects and CAD Technicians

bull Liaise with the client to establish the project design brief and cost plan including the end users requirements

bull Carry out high quality architectural designs to International Standards and local authority requirements and regulations

bull Prepare high quality reports and designs to support the delivery of high quality bids and projects

bull Prepare high quality architectural specifications

bull Support the successful delivery of high quality projects on time and to budgets

bull Provide regular project status updates including risks or concerns to line manager

bull Ensure that Health amp Safety is embedded into all work practices in line with company policies

bull Liaise with the statutory and local authorities to obtain design approvals

bull Ensure statutory and regulatory requirements are met

bull Support line manager in planning resource needs and escalate as required if there are resource concerns. Support the recruitment process as required

bull Provide feedback to line manager on team performance and development requirements

bull Contribute to the delivery of the business unit strategy

bull Support the companies approach to sustainability. Including ensuring sustainability is embedded into our architectural designs

bull Attend and contribute in team and project meetings

bull Lead by example and ensure QMS and Project Life Cycle compliance across team and projects

bull Complete accurate timesheets by set deadline

bull Feedback on all business development opportunities



Requirements

bull BA in Architecture or equivalent with minimum 7 years post graduate experience

bull Member of associated professional body

bull Experienced user of Autodesk design programmes
