Test Analyst Automation (ISTQB foundation certified) – Healthcare

The Medical and Research Center is an ultramodern, all-digital academic medical center located in Doha Qatar. Job Specification Introduction/ Background As part of hospital's strategy is to implement fully integrated clinical and business solutions, the Integration and Innovation Team (sub-division of Application Revenue Cycle and Integration Team) intends to conduct thorough and extensive testing of all hospital’s solutions prior to the opening of inpatient services. Job Summary The Test Analyst Automation – Integration and Innovation, is responsible for developing, executing and reporting on HP UFT scripts to test all system interfaces and applications developed and supported by the Integration and Innovation team. The Test Analyst must have a solid background in HP UFT in testing IT solutions, in a healthcare or comparable industry setting. The Test Analyst shall analyze solutions, create test data, develop test scripts for both functional and non-functional requirements, execute test cycles and prepare test documentation and evidence to meet the business needs of the organization. The Test Analyst must be flexible enough to work on multiple assignments with different stakeholders based on prevailing business need. Solutions and Interfaces under test include Clinical Systems, ERP Solutions, Patient Kiosks, and Mobile Applications. While this list is not exhaustive it is representative of the variety of solutions to be tested. Technical Competency: Experienced and proficiency in standard integration messaging structures including HL7, X-12 and other healthcare integrations, and communication protocols. ISTQB Certified to Foundation Level (or similar qualification). HP UFT experience in excess of 2 years. Demonstrated experience in system integration and application testing and delivery in complex environments. Ability to perform complex problem and structure analysis, identify issues, recommend solutions, formulate work scope, and provide accurate estimates. Proven technical documentation skills and experience. Demonstrated knowledge of Clinical Healthcare in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Must be self-directed and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work and contribute value in a collaborative team environment. Strong familiarity and experience with business processes and data flows in healthcare delivery settings, including knowledge of XML, X12, EDIFACT, DFT, Supply Chain, ADT, Order Results, and Bill transaction sets, is highly desirable. Must be detailed oriented, organized and have strong multitasking ability. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Experience of working in Agile teams using Agile processes. Progressive experience in a healthcare IT environment is required. Strong coordination, facilitation, consultation and conflict resolution skills. Design and develop complex documents in line with guidelines and professional requirements. Maintain own technical currency. Key Role Activities: Create and execute HP UTF automation test scripts. Create test data for automation testing based on current and future build scenarios. Create and execute regression tests using manual and automated test tools and techniques. Identification of opportunities for process improvements for existing and new interfaces and applications. Working with upstream and downstream application owners and the technical analyst as well as business staff to formulate and execute thorough integrated system test plans. Supporting Hospital activation and go-live events. Provides recommendations for improvements, enhancements and innovations in assigned area to support high quality patient care, and research. Conducts solution testing and guides end users through complex application functionality. Adheres to Hospital’s standards as they appear in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest policies.
