Job Description

Our client is a leading Asian contractor with a strong presence throughout the MENA region and South Asia. They are making a push to become a worldwide leader providing construction contracting services to the oil and gas industry. Currently they are in need of an experienced Construction Manager who has 15 years experience performing contracting work for major oil and gas companies. This is an opportunity for permanent employment when projects finish you will move to new projects internationally.

This position will require extensive travel between the GCC South Asia and South Korea

Requirements

183nbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbsp Date of birth must be after 1965.

183nbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbsp 15 years experience performing contracting services to oil and gas projects.

183nbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbsp Must have contracting backgroundworking onsite. Candidates without extensive contracting experience will not be considered.

183nbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbsp Experience with large international contractor is preferred.

183nbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbsp GCC experience preferred.

183nbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbsp Must have construction experience with projects for major oil and gas companies like ARAMCO ADNOC QGPC RasGas Shell Exxon Mobil BP etc.

Duties and Responsibilities

183nbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbsp Supports the performance monitoring of the construction supervision team to confirm compliance with contractual requirements as assigned by the Project Manager.

183nbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbsp Coordinate and arrange general construction activities in execution.

183nbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbsp Generally comprehend the current progress status on site.

183nbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbsp Analyze the performance of subcontractor and see that manpower control is exercised in accordance with original plan.

183nbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbsp Collect and supply data to enable administration managers amp field engineers to prepare reports.

183nbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbsp Cooperate with Safety Engineer to direct safety control function.

183nbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbsp Coordinate in determining the scope of each supervisor's work.

183nbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbsp Assist in arranging preparatory work to be done by startup team.

183nbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbsp Evaluate changes in work requested by the subcontractor.

183nbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbsp Oversee material controller's performance.

183nbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbsp Maintain cooperative contact with client8217s engineers.

183nbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbspnbsp Expedite the client8217s approval on the monthly construction progress measurement of his own discipline.
