Revenue Managers
Execute strategies in support of the hotels business plan to optimize revenues across all market segments in consultation with the Director of Sales Marketing and General Manager. Manage demand forecasting and rate setting strategies for all on line and off line sales channels utilize reporting tools to evaluate business opportunities and prepare and submit reports to facilitate strategies to assist the business achieve or exceed revenue targets. Provide direction to reservations department appraise channel partner performance analyze materialization vs. projections and initiate strategies to respond to need periods throughout the year.
Key Duties
1. Implement revenue management operations procedures and best practices.
2. Manage available room inventory and rate categories with the objective of yield maximization.
3. Produce daily pick up analysis rate strategy adjustments and reporting of same.
4. Identify new revenue opportunities across all channels and propose seasonal offerings to capitalize on changes in business demand.
5. In consultation with the Director of Sales Marketing actively contribute to the business forecast monthly quarterly annual with regard to all market segments as indicated in the marketing plan.
6. Track and establish pickup trends occupancy history and market segment development in order to facilitate forecasting process and to enable proper sales tactical action plans based on real trend analysis and information.
7. Analyze available data and market intelligence to facilitate optimal yield outcomes to gain market share vs. competitor set.
8. Analyze overall monthly hotel performance and provide summary report with recommendations to enhance andor add value to longerterm strategies.
9. Establish tracking mechanism for effective evaluation of crosssell referrals generated materialization rates and customer demographic analysis.
10. Ensure all systems for uploading rates and inventory are correctly configured properly validated and working at all times.
11. Ensure all on line rates are updated in real time to reflect prevailing rate strategies.
12. Coordinate with sales and reservations departments within the Frasers portfolio and at corporate level to identify new business opportunities streamline processes and encourage crossselling.
13. Responsible for best practice standards to include competitor analysis environmental scanning market modeling distribution yield management business mix yield management length of stay yield management lead time analysis day of arrival inventory availability by channel pricing control and new pricing concepts
14. Evaluate performance of distribution partners and contracted rates and report on variances with proposed actions OTA FIT tour operator corporate crew groups etc.
Skills
1. Should have Bachelor of Science in Administration or Hotel Management degree
2. Minimum 24 years of handson hotel revenue management experience.
3.Highly proficient in use of Excel spreadsheet reporting and analytical tools Word PowerPoint Outlook and related software packages.
4. Detailed knowledge of hotel PMS HIS Opera with expert competency in inventory control.
5. Highly competent in GDS Extranets channel management and associated systems.
