Laundry Manager Supervisor

Duties shall include but not limited to the following

1. Cleanliness of Production areas

2. Motivate Production staff

3. Manage and allow machine repair PPM

4. Follow production procedures and the correction of nonconformity and all other duties outlined in the Procedures manual

5. Responsible for maintenance of Production resources to meet daily Production Delivery targets through

• Holiday planning

• Staff reorganisation recruitment

6. To proactively assess daily work schedules requirements utilising to the full resources available to ensure deliveries are on time to the desired quality and work is processed as efficiently as possible.

7. Collect necessary statistics for the weekly monthly calculation of PPOH Material Usage ISO9002 Statistical Assessment etc and ensure targets are achieved

8. Ensure that Induction Job Training record keeping appraisals etc. are all carried out

9. Management of wage payments and the authorization of valid overtime

10. Conformity with Health amp Safety Procedures

11. Ensure maintain and improve staff communications – to include holding regular meetings briefings

12. Ensure maintenance of status quo and smooth running of the organization

13. Ensure adequate stock levels of all consumables and carry out monthly stock checks and ordering

14. Assist and monitor budgets in Production

15. Follow procedure for ordering through to passing invoices – ensure correct items are ordered at lowest costs

16. To maintain the awareness and knowledge of all relevant internal and external procedure IT systems

17. Ensure that Hygiene Procedures are being followed and standards met

Skills

Candidate must have formal training in laundry technology knowledge of washroom practices dry cleaning and laundrygarment finishing techniques and procedures



With at least five years work experience in a supervisory or management position in an industrial laundry environment



Good communication skills in the English language



Effective staff management and the ability to work under pressure and achieve production targets and deadlines



Able to work on eveningweekend shifts
