• Must be educated to HNC level or recognised equivalent or have relevant experience supported by formal recorded workplace applied related training.


• Must have completed a recognised aircraft engineering apprenticeship in industrymilitary or similar qualification in aircraft systems.


• Must have previous Typhoon Systems experience with An appropriate formal ‘Q’ annotation.


• Must have 3 years post qualification experience of military fast jet maintenance support at Supervisor level within an operational military flying environment and proven ability to manage all levels of engineering personnel.


• Good level of interpersonal skill to coordinate a number of activities and the ability to communicate influence and direct decision making.


• Good understanding of company processes and procedures andnbsp industry knowledge.nbsp


• Minimum International English Lanuage Test Scheme – IELTS 5.5


• Must have demonstrated a capacity for rapid and accurate fault diagnosis and have a thorough knowledge of RSAFnbsp Maintenance concept.

  • Knowledgeable in planning scheduling and controlling resources.
  
  
  • Be familiar with Technical Management and Quality Assurance procedures.
  
  
  • Experience ofnbsp ESS or similar electronic based reporting systems.
  
  
  • Demonstrate the ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbal and written to a high standard.

    nbspnbspnbspJOB ACCOUNTABILITIESnbspThe Job Holder is accountable for the followingnbsp
    

    
    
    • Establish and maintain close working relations with RSAF MoDSAP amp Contractor personnel.
    
    
    • Establish an accurate understanding of the Customer's concerns and requirements through regular and direct contact with RSAF and Base personnel
    
    
    • Be familiar with the Unit mission requirements knowledgeable of the Maintenance and Quality Management concepts and understand the lateral functions of other activities.
    
    
    • Establish and maintain an individual EPDR for BAES members of the Quality Assurance Function.
    
    
    • Provide the the Maintenance Squadron Commander through the QA Flight Commander with information regarding significant trends and results of inspections and assessments.
    
    
    • In Conjunction with the Typhoon Support Centre TSC manage all defined Inspections Assessments Evaluations Investigations TCTO First Time Compliance verifications Aircraft Weight and Balance programmes as defined in RSAF Manuals.
    
    
    • Coordinate and carry out Quality Management Assessments QMA of each Maintenance function to measure the compliance IAW RSAF Quality procedures.
    
    
    • Serve as the primary Quality Assurance advisory agency for Maintenance assisting Production Supervisors Superintendents and Management in the resolution of quality problems..
    
    
    • Ensuring that all personnel engaged in activities in his Area of Responsibility follow the correct practices and observe safety precautions thereby complying with the requirements and limitations detailed in the Salam Support Safety Case Report.
    
    
    • Ensuring that no one is exposed to any unnecessary or uncontrolled risk in his Area ofnbsp Responsibility as far as is reasonably practicable.
    
    
    • Ensuring that all continuing airworthiness and maintenance activities conducted within his Area of Responsibility are carried out in accordance with current processes and procedures by appropriately authorised qualified and experienced personnel.
    
    
    • Ensuring that relevant Safety Management Systems and Maintenance Error Management Systems are understood and implemented by staff under his supervision..
    
    
    • Carry out counterpart training of RSAF Personnel
    
    
    • Transferring knowledge and delivering consolidation development to BAES and RSAF personnel under his supervision.
    
    
    • Completing any other reasonable duties or requests made by appropriate line managers.
