Salary range 20.000 to 24.000 QAR according experience

You will be responsible for a complete irrigation system for all areas at each site to be finetuned efficiently and evenly irrigate in accordance with the engineered design in every respect. To maintain the system set in operation and adjusted to the satisfaction of the Engineer.



Work Definition

• Implement long term irrigation management and maintenance plans and ensure all procedures are effective and according to seasonal priorities or preestablished schedules including spring start up midseason checkup and summer season.

• Have relevant acknowledge of automated irrigation system with all related component consisting of field remote control valves control wires filter integrated dripper lines drippers flush valves sprinklers bubblers and control. Repair or make repaired and troubleshoots irrigation issues as required by work orders.

• Perform irrigation system additions and renovations to be coordinate with the local suppliers include adding new piping heads valves wiring and controlling.

• Program irrigation clocks to ensure proper watering of landscapes maintained.

• Inspect facilities to determine maintenance needs

• Estimate labor requirements for jobs and plan work schedules accordingly.

• Confer with the staff to evaluate weather or soil conditions to develop plans or procedures or to discuss issues such as changes in fertilizers herbicides or cultivating techniques.

• Plan or supervise infrastructure or collection maintenance functions such as planting fertilizing pest or weed control or landscaping.

• Monitor work performed by others internal or external landscaping contractors.

• Ensure proper use care and inventory of equipment and tools assigned.

• Communicate reliably with the Client contractors and other stakeholders including related local authorities and the public to ensure the specification is met requests are responded to and problems are resolved.

• Support and develop staff to be productive and deliver a high standard of work ensuring staff are adequately trained.

• Be responsible for the presentation and security of the site

• Ensure a professional image is presented at all times.

Skills

• Candidates must at least 3 years working experience as a Irrigation Engineer at the Gulf Countries

• Must be at least graduated of any two year extensive course

• Must have at least 3 years working experience as a Irrigation Engineer at the Gulf Countries

• Must have knowledge in gardening including taking care of plants and flowers

• Must have knowledge in planting and maintaining grass

• Must have knowledge and ability to do basic landscaping for the plants

• Ability to detect pests

• Must have passion in plants

• English written and spoken and Arabic spoken

• Driven License
