The Department of Surgery is the largest surgical department at KFSHampRC serving the people of Saudi Arabia and providing national leadership in surgical science for nearly 30 years. It consists of nine subspecialty sections including Breast and Endocrine Colorectal Surgery General and Minimally Invasive Surgery Ophthalmology Pediatric Surgery Plastic Surgery Renal and Pancreatic Transplant Thoracic and Vascular Surgery. The Quality and Data Management Unit monitors clinical outcomes in pursuit of the application of outcomes knowledge into changes of practice.From the founding of the Institution until present the department has played a vital role in the growth of its services.
