Parsons Brinckerhoff is assisting Qatar Rail's multibillion planned works to integrate a 4line 100station metro highspeed passenger rail freight a people mover and light rail which once delivered will provide a fast convenient worldclass fully

integrated railway system for theStateofQatar.

Due to this we are currently looking to recruit a Senior Risk Manager to join our PMO team in Doha.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

Supports the risk management framework across the program supporting risk management governance across Qatar Rail

Supports the facilitation of the monthly program risk workshops

Supports the facilitation of the monthly project risk escalation workshops

Supports the administration and enhanced configuration of the ARM database

Supports the risk management forum with risk professions within Qatar Rail to promote learning and enhanced knowledge sharing

Supports Risk Management awareness and software training throughout Program

Supports the Corporate Risk Management Team in the enhancement and deployment of the Risk Management Policy framework process and procedures

Supports the PMO change management team by ensuring risks are identified and assessed to enable risk based decisions

Supports the procurement process by taking account of lessons learnt from previous procurement activities

Supports the communication of lessons learned to ensure immediate deployment of risk treatment activities to minimise risks materialising on similar projects

Supports external stakeholders with the development of Qatar National Risk Treatment strategies activities

Supports risk based audits to provide assurance that project teams are implementing the Risk Management Framework and are in control of their risks

Supports the procurement and customisation of Risk Management tools primarily ARM OPRA and PMIS

Supports the Qatar Rail commercial team in support of the insurance processes specifically with regards to risk treatment effectiveness

Supports all relevant parties within the PMO to provide risk cost contingency.

Supports the provision of recommendations to CPO with respect to risk mitigation measures

Supports risk analysis and monitoring and reporting of mitigation measures

Supports the qualitative and quantitative risk analysis including risk sensitivity analysis at Program level

Supports the risk input for Program reporting.

Supports the promotion of a learning and risk awareness culture consistent with Qatar Rail Vision Mission Values and objectives.

Job Requirements

Bachelors Degree in relevant discipline

10 yrs of relevant experience

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Experience in Risk Management processes on medium scale projects preferred

Experience of Risk Management software i.e. ARM preferred
