Job descriptionThe Post Arabic SecretaryEmbrace and encourage the ethos and standards of excellence as defined in the GEMS Core Values. To liaise and be responsible for all works related to relevant Ministries and Authorities. In charge of advising and updating schools on student and teacher affairs relating to ministries and authorities rules and regulations. To liaise with Registrars PAâs or HR regarding student registration rules as well as requirements for teaching staff. Perform a wide range of secretarial duties as relevant to the job scope and maintain accurate and detailed records databases and files. Keep up to date on Ministry Authority regulations and procedures and notify relevant school administrators of changes to policy and compliance.In association with ICT support compile and generate Ministry required student records manual or online records Liaise with the PRC PRO regarding Ministry Authority approvals for teaching staff and school license. Establish effective association with local Government ministries authorities and offices.Ensure the GEMS policies procedures and codes of conduct are followed at all times. Initiate effort and energy beyond the typical work day where the tasks require additional commitment. Attend staff meetings and serve on committees as required. Perform other duties as requested by direct dotted reporting line managers supervisors. Qualifications knowledgeCompletion of formal schooling advanced training preferred.Local driverâs license.
