Principal accountabilities

Obtain Daily Status Report from CFI for Sea Freight and Air Freight shipments. Review the reports and take necessary action on problem areas or take with CFI accordingly.



Follow up shipping lines for Vessel arrivals and issue arrival advice to concerned Department after clearance from Customs issue Clearance Advices.



Use the best efforts to sort out problems faced by the Broker in clearance through local agents shippingairlines.



Initiate and prepare insurance claims for damagesmissing items and send claim documents to . Keep a record of claim recordsettlement.



Take care of ImportsExports by road through another broker known to Zahid.



CFI Invoices Check thoroughly for SeaAir Fright shipments ensure they have complete supporting documents and approve for payment through Accounts Department.



Maintain uptodate Air Fright Shipments Register and log for Sea Freight. Prepare monthly AirSea Freight Report and send to Imports .



Follow up shipping documents with . to ensure documents are received on time. Follow up legal documents for shipments cleared against guarantees and arrange withdrawal from Customs through Circle Freight International later.
