This is an opportunity to work with one of leading distribution and retail companies in the region. Our client has operations across the Middle East with an employee base of over 140 different nationalities. Based in the UAE with operations in several different industries our client has a varied portfolio of globally recognized brands in the FMCG pharmaceutical retail and construction industries among others.



As a Distribution Centre Manager you will be responsible for managing a 17000 square feet temperature controlled warehouse for over 12000 pharmaceutical SKUs. Reporting directly to the Head of Operations and Logistics your main responsibilities will include



bull Implementing stock count policies and procedures as well as ensuring optimal inventory levels are maintained.

bull Ensure that stocks are organized in the most efficient and safe manner.

bull Ensure WMS procedures are followed once it is implemented.

bull Train warehousing staff on safety and security procedures.

bull Ensure maximum productivity of resources and warehouse storage capacity.

bull Reduce trailer running and labour hiring costs as well as recommend optimization methods.



Additionally you will manage a staff of over 50 warehouse employees.

Who we39re looking for

The successful candidate for this Distribution Centre Manager role must have



bull A Bachelors degree preferably in Logistics or Supply Chain.

bull A minimum of57 years experience in warehousing and distribution experience in a multinational FMCG or pharmaceutical company principal or distributor company.

bull Familiar with the cold chain process of storing and distributing pharmaceutical or FMCG products.

bull Strong leadership and team management skills as well as excellent communication skills.

bull Fluency in English.



Candidates with experience of working with WMS will gain an advantage.
