TechnicalFunctional Responsibilities

149 Maintains frequent contact with contractor146s quality control staff and field supervisory personnel in performing its duties.

149 Performs observation surveillance and audit activities on selected contractor project field activities including environmental emissions and controls.

149 Monitors progress against approved schedules.

149 Monitors project safety programs assuring contractor adherence to its approved safety plans as well as contractual requirements

149 Provides reporting to Red Line field management organization of any deficiencies in contractor compliance with approved plans and procedures issues related to implementation of the work and other pertinent matters.

Qualifications Profile

149 Experience on industry relevant projects for position preferably with successive responsibility on large projects transportation or infrastructure projects.

149 Accredited college degree in related industry activities engineering or construction management or equivalent related experience.

149 Certifications of continued industry training and education related to the work such as specifications quality standards related to the heavy construction rail or transportation industry.

149 Certification in construction Health amp Safety training such as NEBOSH OSHA ECITB or ability to complete training to obtain certification within six 6 months after initial project assignment date.

149 English fluency in reading writing and speech

149 Proficient experience in key MS Desktop applications.

Prior experience on multiphase projects and in the Middle East is preferred

Principal Responsibilities

149 Performs construction assurance duties related to construction contractor work activities including but not limited to the following

149 Observation surveillance and audit of selected contractor field construction quality management and field supervision operations.

149 Recognize developing issues related to unsafe situations ineffective quality management by contractor personnel andor work that is contractually noncompliant or contrary to approved plans or procedures.

149 Maintains proactive relationship with contractor146s quality and supervisory staff to facilitate in accordance with procedures the necessary corrective action by the contractor.

149 Reviews Contractor Daily Reports for accuracy and completes Daily Observation Reports reflecting observations discussions andor significant events.

149 Receives direction on a daily basis from the Construction Section Leader and reports functionally to the Civil Construction Manager.

149 Observation of environmental emissions and controls and takes lead on incident reporting for site off site activities.
