PRODUCTION ENGINEER

Main Duties and ResponsibilitiesOperationsMaintenance ActivitiesProvidescoordinates operational technical adviceinput for long term and short term oil and gas production facilities and troubleshoots any arising problems such as chokes flow measurement devices etc. including diagnosing causes and recommending appropriate actions.Analyses results of performance tests of production facilities analyses data such as temperature pressure flows utilities and chemical consumption maintenance failures highlights problems and recommends economical sound solutions to achieve Companys output objectives.Compiles and analyses data of Gas system feedingleaving Umm Shaif Super complex for performance measures.Performs process calculations e.g. mass energy balance etc. across units and equipments highlights and recommends remedial measures for any abnormalities.Makes relevant calculations to forecast deterioration of equipment performance to alert site personnel for advance actions.Participates in the operations facilities audit activities as and when required.Prepares programs specifications of equipment and followsup implementation of pipeline pigging operations in consultation with concerned divisions.Prepares programs under the guidance of senior follows up gas well testing campaigns and carries out data validation.Technical InputProjects ActivitiesEvaluates in technically in coordination with integrity Assurance and Engineering Divisions contractors bids including comparison of bidders technical information with Companys tender specification seeking technical clarification suggesting specifications revision etc. and submits technical report to Supervisor.Studies and comments on engineering documents of major projects.Participates in various engineering studies such as risk assessments studies HAZOP HAZID PHSER reviews at various stages of different projects as assigned by Supervisor.Reviewsparticipates in the preparation of contractors scope of work for variousspecialized projects.Participates in the preparation of detailed scope of specific projects and other major studies performance test etc.Studies and comments on simulation work for pipe lines network capacity using various soft wares.Studies and comments on calculations process of Amine gas sweetening dehydration and compression systems.Coordination RoleCoordinates operational problems raised by site personnel with various DivisionsDepartments and follows up rectification.Coordinates with concerned DivisionsDepartments and reviews the evaluation and selection of new chemicals.Coordinates as job officer inputs from specialistengineers site and safety as appropriate and prepares an action plan for implementation.HSE RoleEnsure full awareness and compliance with HSEM system.Performs CTARisk Assessments Near Miss Analysis and environment control.Subsidiary ActivitiesOther Related DutiesPerforms other related duties as assigned by Supervisor such as generating spreadsheet based programs and charts for easy analysis of data acting for Supervisor during leaveabsence attending meetings and writing technical reports training Junior UAE National etc.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS knowledge Skills and ExperienceBachelor Degree in Chemical Process or Petroleum Engineering6 years experience in operations and technical services for oilpetrochemical productionprocessing plants more...
