. >Our client is a world class manufacturer of Architectural Curtain Wall Systems and envelopes. The company has a manufacturing and project management team in house. They undertake large projects across the ME. The job will be based inDubai but will require travel toDohaorSaudi Arabiafrom time to time. Responsible to develop the initial “design intent” into the proper working design once the project is awarded. This is to be done to suit Architectural drawings job specification engineers’ calculation and tender requirement in conjunction with the Design Manager or Design Team Leader Develop and draw curtain wall details from Architect’s and engineering drawings for the client approval Propose and implement technical solutions that maximize project profitability and improve product performances Drawcheck production drawings Discuss and review the tendering budget with the Tendering Team and the Project Manager during kickoff meeting to define a common Kick Off budget and consequently be fully responsible to achieve goals defined in this phase In charge of resources utilization within the defined design team Collaborate with the Technical Manager Support the Commercial Team to properly estimate during the tendering offer design hours and identify major issues Define and manage the project from a technical point of view Define a feasibility study and develop curtain wall systems to be used for the project Analyze the technical specifications and the job’s “scope of work“. Ensure the preparation of the Project Quality Plan Issue all production drawingsinformation to factory Liaise with the Production and Quality Assurance Managers to ensure that schedules are on time. Candidate Requirement Structural Engineer with initial 12 years in a top notch design and consultation firm then moved to Industry specialist for Curtain Wall systems and Architectural Envelopes and systems. Technically very strong backed with commercial and financial capability. Strong Project Management understanding. Track record within Curtain Wall segment with consultants manufacturer or Structural Civil Construction Company. Commercial and business acumen is essential. Team Leader and capable of conducting technical discussion with clients and senior technical managers. Willing to relocate to work anywhere in the GCC region.
